A few things you might be wondering…

What size or type of business does Bespoke work with?
Bespoke works with small and medium-sized businesses across a wide range of sectors. Every business works differently, so the starting point is always understanding how yours operates, what you need, and where Bespoke can make life easier.
My bookkeeping is a bit of a mess. Does it need to be sorted before we start?
Nope. If everything was already perfectly organised, you probably wouldn't be looking for help. Whether you're a little behind, the system has grown messy over time, or you're simply not sure what's right and what's wrong, we can start from where you are and get things back under control.
How much does it cost?
It depends on what you need. You might want to hand over the entire bookkeeping function, get help with one part of it, arrange some training, or need occasional consultancy support. Once we've talked about your business and what's involved, you'll know what it will cost before any work begins.
Should I be keeping my books a particular way?
No. There’s no single right way to keep your books. You might be using accounting software, spreadsheets, paper records — or have everything in a box waiting to be sorted. Bespoke starts with where you are now, and can help put a system in place that works for you and your business.
What software can Bespoke work with?
Bespoke works with a wide range of bookkeeping, accounting and payroll software, including Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, Surf, Big Red Book, CollSoft and Klyant. If you're already using something else, that's not a problem either — the important thing is finding the right system for your business and making sure it works properly for you.
Do you work with my accountant?
Yes. Your bookkeeper and accountant should make life easier for each other — and for you. Bespoke can work directly with your accountant to make sure the records and information they need are complete, accurate and ready when they need them.
Why do I need both a bookkeeper and an accountant?
You might not need both. It depends on your business, what you’re comfortable managing yourself and the kind of support you need. A bookkeeper looks after the day-to-day financial records of your business — keeping them accurate, organised and up to date, and making sure you have useful information throughout the year. Your accountant generally takes that information further, preparing year-end accounts and tax returns and advising on tax and other financial matters.
What kind of working relationship can I expect?
A collaborative one. Bespoke works best when there’s open communication, mutual respect and a genuine interest in making the financial side of the business work well. Good bookkeeping is valuable, and the best relationships are with clients who recognise that value — not just at year end, but as part of running their business well.
Where do you work — do you need to come to my premises?
Not necessarily. Much of the work can be done remotely, but sometimes being on site makes sense — particularly when getting to know a business, setting up or improving systems, or providing training. Bespoke is based in Kildare and works with businesses in Kildare, Dublin, Laois and beyond.
